Does your school have clear Child Protection policies, protocols and an education curriculum in place?  Are you confident that an allegation would be swiftly and appropriately responded to by your leadership?  Does your school practice safe recruiting and have a clear Code of Conduct for all teachers, staff and volunteers to keep children safe?  Do you have a Comprehensive Child Protection Plan in place that is actively implemented throughout your school community and regularly evaluated for effectiveness?  If you answered ‘No’ to any of these questions, this session is for you!  Participants in this session will gain a basic understand of what a Comprehensive Child Protection Plan entails and learn about key resources, templates, research and local facts that can be utilized to improve your school’s plan while better protecting your community. Resources shared will be open source and can be adjusted to meet your unique community location and needs.
